Stone Lintel Gate
What is a stone lintel without a gate doing in an arboretum? This question may cross your mind when you see it.
As with the other stone work on the site, this is also a legacy from Wolfgang Eberts, the former owner of the arboretum. When the opportunity arose to preserve the valuable Leisberg natural stones during the demolition of a villa in Baden-Baden, he seized the chance to save these stones for the walls of the arboretum. And so the work of art, whose origin is unknown, found its way into the arboretum.
