With the Merkur Funicular Railway up the Merkur Mountain
After the hike, a short ride on the Merkur mountain railway is just the thing, as stage 1 ends directly at the valley station. The historic funicular railway takes you comfortably to the summit of the Merkurberg, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Rhine plain and the Black Forest.

From the valley station of the Merkur mountain railway, you can walk downhill past the ‘Paradies’ back to the town. There are also regular buses.
