Food & Specialities at the Baden-Baden Christmas Market

The culinary offerings range from traditional specialties to international delicacies. You can look forward to the hearty classics of the Christmas market: Black Forest specialties, spicy flamed salmon, fresh grilled sausages and a selection of game specialties.

Enjoy Turkish delicacies, Italian delicacies and original Hungarian langos. Or have you ever tasted delicious dinnedes, made by hand and traditionally baked in a wood-fired oven?

Vegetarians and vegans can also look forward to a variety of delicacies, including vegan burgers and spiral potatoes.

What would a visit to the Christmas market be without the right drinks? The organic mulled gin, straight from the Ortenau show distillery, is an absolute highlight. Plus a variety of punch and mulled wine, burnt punch and champagne.

For those of us with a sweet tooth, there is once again a tempting selection of sweets this year.

Right at the entrance to the Christmas Market, you will also be greeted by a locomotive offering freshly roasted chestnuts - a real treat that perfectly complements the Christmas atmosphere.

In addition to classics such as almonds and stomach bread, you can look forward to freshly baked crêpes and a variety of chocolate fruits.

Special highlights are the Italian almond cookies from our own production and the cookies and chestnuts made on site, which will delight every sweet lover.

And for those looking for something unique, we offer all kinds of candied nuts and the exquisite goufrais - cocoa confectionery in the shape of a bundt cake .
