A day at the racetrack

This is what a typical race day looks like

Racecourse and lead ring: The racecourse opens 90 minutes before the start of the first race. Around 20 minutes before each race, the horses gather in the lead ring, where the most promising candidates are introduced to the public. The jockeys also make their final preparations with their teams here.

Start and race: About 10 minutes before the start, horse and rider make their way to the starting line - time to place your bets. Shortly before the race, the starter signals for the horses to enter the starting boxes and the race begins.

Award ceremony and next race: After the race, the horses are taken to the heel ring, where the award ceremony also takes place. The winning team is celebrated and the national anthem is played after the valuable group races. Then the cycle starts all over again with the next race.

Between the races: With 30 to 35-minute intervals between races, there is plenty of time to visit the numerous exhibition tents and food and drink stands. If you would like to learn more about betting, you can visit the Wettstar betting school next to the driving ring.

Dresscode: There is no fixed dress code. However, a jacket is welcome in the more exclusive areas such as the Brenners Lounge or the Champions Club. Whether smart or casual - whatever you like is allowed!
