An unforgettable golf vacation in Baden-Baden that perfectly combines golfing pleasure, culinary highlights and cultural experiences. From checking into one of the outstanding golf hotels and exploring the charming town, to teeing off with a breathtaking Rhine panorama and relaxing moments in the Caracalla Spa, to cultural discoveries and culinary delights - every day offers unique experiences. Four days full of golf, enjoyment and culture
Day 1: Arrival
Outstanding golf hotels in the golf region are ready and waiting for your visit. Arrive, check in and start exploring Baden-Baden. Our tip: The easiest way to discover the many "faces" of the city is to listen to the interesting anecdotes of the trained city guides.
In the evening, the diverse restaurant scene is inviting, from Michelin-starred gastronomy to cosy Baden wine taverns, there is something for every taste.
Finally, why not challenge your luck? The Casino Baden-Baden, one of the oldest casinos in Germany, was modelled on French royal castles and fascinates not only at the roulette tables.
Day 2: Tee off with a panoramic view of the Black Forest
The Baden Hills Golf & Curling Club is located barely 20 minutes' drive from Baden-Baden in the Rhine valley. Thanks to the particularly sandy and water-permeable soil, this golf course (5780 metres, par 72) can be played all year round.
After an exciting day on the green, the modern Caracalla Spa in the centre of the city offers pure wellness pleasure. Surrounded by turquoise blue water and elegant marble columns, you can relax wonderfully under the glass dome of the spa.
Finally, Baden-Baden's old town enchants visitors with its picturesque little streets and numerous exclusive boutiques for first-class shopping.
Day 3: Tee off and culture
The Baden-Baden Golf Club, Germany's third oldest golf club, is located just a few minutes from the city centre. This 4260 metre long par 64 natural golf course is one of the most beautiful in Germany. Despite its shorter length, it requires technical finesse and challenges even golfers with low handicaps.
After golfing, the Museum Mile in Baden-Baden offers cultural highlights. The Frieder Burda Museum in Lichtentaler Allee exhibits contemporary art and classical modernism. A visit to the city museum illustrates Baden-Baden's history from the beginning of Roman times to today's UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers fascinating insights into the city's development.
Day 4: A feast for the senses
Start the day with another golfing experience at one of the golf clubs in Baden-Baden.
Back in Baden-Baden, take some time for a walk through the beautiful Lichtentaler Allee alley and gardens or the Gönneranlage.
For a breathtaking view over the Rhine plain and the Black Forest, take a trip to the Merkur, Baden-Baden's local mountain. The highest point in the city can be reached by one of the steepest funicular railways in Europe. At the top, the cosy restaurant invites you to take a culinary break. Visitors can enjoy magnificent sunsets from the terrace.
The late evening at the Festival Hall Baden-Baden rounds off the day perfectly. Germany's largest opera house and concert hall presents international operas, concerts and ballet performances all year round.
